Season Opening Night Gala
Saturday, October 2, 2004
Opera Santa Barbara will launch our 11th Season with a not-to-be-missed Black Tie Gala dedicated to fine food, extraordinary entertainment, and of course, our inaugural performance of Faust!
The evening begins at 6pm as guests arrive at the red-hot Restaurant Nu, to enjoy a 4-course dinner designed to light your culinary fire! From there, you will be whisked away to the Lobero Theatre via trolly just in time to walk the fiery red carpet and catch the 8pm curtain of Faust. During intermission, enjoy the company of fellow patrons in a private reception backstage. After the performance, the trolly awaits to take you back to Restaurant Nu for a champagne toast and dessert. Maestro Ryvkin, the cast, stage director and special guests will join us. This special evening is limited to 120 guests, and at $500 per person, they're sure to sell out, so reserve your seats early!
